1Tbspfreshly minced garlic (or swap this and salt for garlic salt)
½tspsalt
⅛tsppepper
Instructions
Cut up about two medium zucchinis into 1" inch uniform pieces. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Allow butter to brown slightly.
Add zucchini pieces to skillet and stir to evenly coat all pieces in melted butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes without stirring.
If using freshly minced garlic, add it to the pan now and stir. If using garlic salt, sprinkle on now and stir. Continue to cook for 3-5 more minutes or until the zucchini has reached desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
Add salt and pepper to taste. (Do not add salt if using garlic salt.) Optionally, sprinkly on grated parmesan for a cheesy flavor boost right at the end. Turn off the heat and serve warm.
Notes
Seasonings can be adjusted based on your family's preferences. Try using Italian seasonings, Old Bay spices, or even cajun spices for additional flavor profiles. Also, try cutting the zucchini in slices as opposed to 1" pieces for another alternative.
