A decadent sweet treat that combines Oreos, cream cheese, and melted chocolate to create a bite-sized truffle that is perfect for your next holiday tray or family gathering.
¾packagevanilla almond bark(or white melting chocolate)
¼packagechocolate almond bark
Instructions
Empty the package of Oreos into a food processor or high-powered blender. Add the softened cream cheese. Pulse a few times and then blend until the two are completely mixed together.
Scoop out the Oreo mixture using a 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop. Place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place them into a refrigerator to firm up for about an hour.
After they are firmer, gently roll them in your hands to create smooth balls. Place them back in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes if they soften too much during this part.
In a small bowl, melt the vanilla almond bark or white melting chocolate. Follow the package directions so you don't overbake it.
One at a time, dip the Oreo balls in the melted almond bark to fully coat them. Place the coated Oreo balls back on the parchment paper. Allow the white chocolate to set, about 15 minutes or so.
Optional: Melt a little bit of chocolate almond bark and drizzle it over the Oreo balls. Add a little bit of coconut oil if needed to thin the chocolate slightly. Alternatively, add sprinkles, Oreo crumbs, etc.
Store Oreo balls in an enclosed container in the refrigerator for about two weeks.
